2024
Dearest Dusties...I hope this message finds you well and that you are recovering from all the excitement (and possible safety third whoopsies) at Burning Man! On behalf of our entire team, I wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt hello.
We love what we do here at burning man including bicycle trailer options, ortho boot, cane give aways, seminars and education on how to bring accessibility into your world big or small. Event planners from all over the world come to ask us how we do this and we love them for that. We were placed next to Mobility Camp again and that was a huge boon to our client's in need. And in Center Camp, woot!
This year we doubled the amount of chariot checkouts up to nearly 40 for the whole week, woopty that was a busy year. It goes to show you the need for camps like these. In a city of 70,000 people, accessibility is an important part of community engagement our inclusion principle.
The 2024 temple was absolutely beautiful and accessible, and this year, the Man was too! A big thank you to Jen Erwin, Caroline Gosin and their build teams for making that possible. And of course, we can't forget a nod to Coney McConeface, because, well, safety third!
If you have any feedback, stories, or (pretty please!) pictures you'd like to share from your ride, we would love to hear from you. And don't forget, come say hi in 2025! We're always on the lookout for new campers eager to join our mobility services team. It's fun, you can still party, it's a great time!
